KYBELLA is an injectable treatment that improves the profile and appearance of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called "double chin." Dr. Busso was invited to be among the first physicians in the United States to introduce the new KYBELLA in July 2015. With KYBELLA, fat cells are killed and eliminated by the body, while surrounding tissues are unaffected.
How Does KYBELLA Work?
One to five treatment sessions may be required. Each treatment requires 1 – 2 vials of KYBELLA. Dr. Busso will customize the treatment regimens, including the number of treatments needed, based on the desired results. Dr. Busso will administer a series of injections spaced one month or more apart. Many patients see visible contouring after two treatments.
